Considered Château d’Esclans’ finest wine, Garrus is a compelling rosé that is both subtle and powerful. Concentrated and rich on the palate, it nevertheless offers a unique freshness and minerality.
Situated in the heart of Provence, Château d’Esclans – under the visionary eye of winemaker Sacha Lichine – has produced a truly special rosé, on a par with the finest white wines or prestige champagnes.

TASTING NOTES:
Complex and generous

Appearance

Pale, rosy apricot.

Aroma

Delicate perfume of white peach, candied apple and ripe pear, with a hint of oak and rose petals.

Taste

Oak is in evidence, but the presence of fruit – white peaches, tart apricots and luscious red fruit – adds a sweetness and generosity. A touch of salinity and a bright acidity give way to a creamy finish with rich and spicy notes.

BLEND & ORIGIN WINES

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Château d’Esclans Garrus 2020

A traditional oaked rosé made in a Burgundian style, with bâtonnage twice weekly giving extra body.

Garrus 2020 is made from a single vineyard of nearly 100-year-old grenache vines, with the addition of vermentino and syrah.

Entirely fermented and aged in new French oak barrels for 11 months, the result is a precise yet extravagant rosé with fantastic freshness and length.
