Product DetailsTiming was everything for this modern and well-rounded wine, which has a similar freshness and complexity to that of 2011, one of the maison’s most celebrated vintages. An early harvest brought plenty of precious acidity to this vintage, which balances the typical d’Yquem sweetness with a unique liveliness.

Blend and Origin
2014 Château d'Yquem, Sauternes
The weather in 2014 was ideal, with three periods of botrytis growth and multiple waves of picking over nine weeks. The first wave was particularly early for the maison, beginning on 5 September, and some 25% of the crop was brought in before 15 September, providing a rare and precious background of acidity to this blend of sémillon (75%) and sauvignon blanc (25%).
This product can only be purchased by persons over 18 years of age.
Rich and showy dishes suit this vintage well
Begin with a small portion of quality foie gras.
For the next course, serve a decadent dish of lobster in the shell, a match to further enhance the freshness of this vintage.
