Product DetailsSwings in temperature allowed noble rot to flourish, producing what the maison calls a “classic” Yquem vintage – both luscious and fresh, with exceptional drinkability and ageing potential. Rich and bright flavours of candied fruits are backed up by razor-sharp acidity in this vintage, culminating in an impressively pure and very long finish.

Blend and Origin
2013 Château d'Yquem, Sauternes
A blend of sémillon (70%) and sauvignon (30%), the 2013 vintage is the result of a growing season remembered for wild contrasts. Spring was extremely wet and cool, and summer unusually hot and long, which provided noble rot the perfect conditions to flourish. During harvest, the grape selection was very strict allowing only the best grapes to be picked and produce this splendid Sauternes.
This product can only be purchased by persons over 18 years of age.
