TASTING NOTES:
Reminiscent of a vintage champagne
Pale, rosy apricot.
Concentrated aromas and flavours of dried citrus, peaches and passion fruit give this rosé a powerful nose.
Expect a bright acidity with glazed pear and pineapple filling the mid palate, and toasty notes that are reminiscent of a vintage champagne without the bubbles.

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Château d’Esclans Garrus 2021
Garrus is made with grapes exclusively from the vineyards of Chateau d’Esclans, a high concentration of which come from a single parcel of 100-year-old grenache vines.
The grapes are destemmed and lightly crushed at a low temperature to avoid oxidation, and the wine is fermented in French oak barrels with bâtonnage – the process of stirring up the lees to add body and ensure a creamy finish – taking place twice weekly for 11 months before bottling.
