With a creamy finish and texture plus rich, spicy notes, a brilliantly balanced mix of ripe fruit, fine oak and freshness, and the potential to age and develop over time, it has infinite appeal.

BLEND & ORIGIN WINES

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Château d’Esclans Garrus 2021

Garrus is made with grapes exclusively from the vineyards of Chateau d’Esclans, a high concentration of which come from a single parcel of 100-year-old grenache vines.

The grapes are destemmed and lightly crushed at a low temperature to avoid oxidation, and the wine is fermented in French oak barrels with bâtonnage – the process of stirring up the lees to add body and ensure a creamy finish – taking place twice weekly for 11 months before bottling.
