BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Château Cheval Blanc 2008

Following a wet spring and lacklustre summer, dry weather in September and October helped to salvage the crop.

The harvest was spread out, and those in the vineyards stopped on several occasions to ensure each plot was only picked when the grapes had reached optimum ripeness.

This blend of 55% merlot and 45% cabernet franc was aged in 100% new oak for 16-17 months.
