TASTING NOTES:
WELL-BALANCED AND FRESH
Deep ruby-red, with mauve highlights.
The nose is fine, fruity and vivacious, laced with hints of ripe black fruit and delicate roasted notes.
This round and silky red reveals full, fresh flavours that develop into elegant tannins and aromatic richness.

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Château Cheval Blanc 2007
The growing season in Bordeaux in 2007 was a challenging one.
After warm weather in April led to early flowering, the weather deteriorated.
Fortunately, careful attention in the vineyard protected the grapes from mildew and grey rot, and ideal weather in September allowed the grapes to ripen fully.
Ageing in 100% new oak barrels helped to impart complexity and texture to this blend of 53% cabernet franc and 47% merlot.

FOOD PAIRING:
COMPLEMENT THIS VINTAGE'S AROMATIC CHARACTER
For an ideal match, pair this wine with slow-roasted and savoury lamb, or smoky and succulent lamb chops from the grill.
Cheese – particularly herbed goat cheese or a mild Brie or Camembert – is an excellent way to finish your meal.
