POWERFUL AND COMPLEX
A deep red.
Rich aromas of spice and fresh raspberries, strawberries and blackberries open up to reveal roasted overtones and hints of vanilla, bay leaf and leather.
This wine begins with fresh flavours that soon give way to more powerful and tighter sensations. The finish is long and intense, with silky tannins melting in the mouth.

Château Cheval Blanc 2000
This vintage – 53% merlot and 47% cabernet franc – benefited from warm, dry weather leading up to the harvest.
The winter in 2000 was wet and mild, and the spring temperate but rainy. A dry and warm June was followed by a wet July, after which a long dry spell set in.
Rigorous grape selection, expert blending and ageing in 100% new oak resulted in this outstanding wine.
