TASTING NOTES:
A pale and pure rosé
Light pink but exceptionally pale-looking and very delicate in the glass.
Expect a tight, youthful intensity on the nose, with well-defined signature red fruit notes of strawberry and ripe raspberry standing out alongside fleshy and bright honeydew melon.
On the palate are vibrant notes of pink fruit and the freshness of melon contrasted with a creamy, textured and fuller body than previous vintages. On the mid-palate is a hint of pink grapefruit that brings a mouth-watering acidity for a long and lasting finish.

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Caves d'Esclans Whispering Angel 2022
Whispering Angel 2022 is made from a blend of carefully selected grapes sourced from some of the best vineyards in the vicinity of the Esclans Valley and nearby in the Côtes de Provence region.
The 2022 vintage blends grenache, cinsault and vermentino grapes, which have been harvested at night to avoid the heat of the day and keep the crop fresh, to great effect.
The best free-run juices and press juices are fermented and aged in stainless steel with temperature control to preserve the wine's fruitiness.
Bâtonnage – the process of stirring up the lees – then adds a full body to the end result.

Pale apricot color with aromas of pomegranates, grapefruit, rosemary, lavender and peaches. Fresh and delicate, yet fragrant and flavorful, with a medium body and bright acidity. Lovely fresh pink fruit. Drink and enjoy.

This is the very first time I have added a '+' to my score below because this is the symbol I use, across all of my wine writing, to indicate that a wine will improve and evolve with age!

Such a delicate perfume: rose-hip and pot-pourri, fresh red berries, juiciness of watermelon. On the palate it is dry and refined, the red berries hint at tartness to make the mouth water, the wine finishing with shimmering, elegant acidity.
