The grapes for this wine come from Cape Mentelle’s coolest vineyards, located in Australia’s Margaret River region. This, the estate’s signature white wine, is intensely aromatic and elegant. -

Blend and Origin
Cape Mentelle Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2016
An excellent harvest in 2016, complemented by meticulous work in the vineyards, produced a characterful blend. This wine, 57% sauvignon blanc and 43% semillon from vineyards in the cooler half of the Margaret River region, underwent extended fermentation, mainly in stainless steel tanks, with 8% in new oak barrels. It spent four months on lees and was bottled unfiltered.
