A powerful, hand-crafted Spanish wine from the Toro region, this is full-bodied with sublime fruit concentration and an impressive aromatic complexity.
Produced from organic vines that are more than 120 years old, and harvested and sorted by hand at optimal ripeness, the tinta de toro (the local name for tempranillo) grapes are then fermented and aged for 22 months in new French oak barrels.

Made from 100% fully ripened tinta de toro grapes from low-yielding, old vines growing in an extreme climate, this balanced vintage is the result of 2014's abundant rainfalls in April and May, followed by a tempered summer.
 

A long, careful maceration and fermentation followed, with extended time on skins to extract maximum tannin, flavour and colour.
