    With La Grande Dame Rosé 2008, cellar master Dominique Demarville has crafted a rosé champagne with a particularly high percentage of pinot noir, imparting the champagne's house hallmark depth and structure. This special Veuve Clicquot champagne has been aged 10 years, per tradition, finding a balance between strength and elegance – two attributes that Madame Clicquot herself would have approved of.

  • Blend and Origin

    A blend of grapes from six of the maison’s historical grands crus, this rosé champagne is made from pinot noir (92%) and chardonnay (8%), with pinot noir red wine (14%) from the maison’s iconic Clos Colin. Cool and dry weather in 2008 characterised the vintage, offering excellent ripening conditions and exceptional acidity levels in the grapes.
