    Paying tribute to Madame Clicquot and her dedication to producing the finest champagne each year, Extra Old is a carefully considered blend of reserve wines from eight different harvests.

    The second edition of this new style of Veuve Clicquot undergoes two stages of aging to achieve the ideal aromatic balance, and exhibits a delightful freshness thanks to its lighter dosage.

  • Blend and Origin

    Extra Brut Extra Old 2 is the second cuvée of the collection. Crafted in the style of the maison’s Yellow Label, but entirely with reserve wines, it blends pinot noir (45%), chardonnay (25%) and meunier (28%) from 1990, 1998, 1999, 2006, 2009, 2010 and 2012. Double ageing on lees — a minimum of three years in vats before bottling, then at least three years in bottle – further develops its unique freshness and silky texture. A low dosage of three grams per litre ensures a beautiful balance.
