Discover the legends and secrets behind the iconic Dom Pérignon. Your visit to Reims includes:

Two nights’ accommodation with breakfast at the five-star L’Assiette Champenoise hotel.
A six-course, three Michelin-starred dinner at L’Assiette Champenoise with a bottle of Dom Pérignon.
A day in Hautvillers to visit the church where Dom Pierre Pérignon is buried as well as the legendary abbey, complemented by tasting of Dom Pérignon 2006. You’ll also partake in an educational technical masterclass on the Champagne region, the méthode champenoise, and the maison and its cuvées, tasting Dom Pérignon 2005, Dom Pérignon P2 1998 or 2000, and Dom Pérignon Rosé 2004.
A final guided tasting will focus on food and champagne pairing, with a four-course lunch to accompany Dom Pérignon’s champagnes.

Full Itinerary

Day 1

Your chauffeur will meet you at Reims or Champagne-Ardenne station and drive you to your hotel, the five-star L’Assiette Champenoise, just outside the Reims city centre.
If you are arriving before 4pm, we would be delighted to recommend a Clos19 activity for the afternoon. Alternatively, enjoy a swim in the hotel pool (free of charge) or a massage (additional fees apply).
In the evening, a six-course welcome dinner, with a glass of Dom Pérignon, will be served in the hotel’s triple Michelin-starred restaurant.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will travel to the hilltop village of Hautvillers – the “cradle of champagne,” by luxury chauffeured vehicle. An expert from the maison will welcome you and be your guide for your unforgettable atelier.
Begin with a visit to the church where Dom Pérignon is buried and the Abbey of Hautvillers. This is a particularly special experience, as the abbey is not open to the public. Here, you will discover the history of Dom Pérignon and taste the maison’s 2006 vintage.
Next is a technical masterclass, where you learn about the Champagne region, the méthode champenoise and Dom Pérignon’s role and influence, after which you will have the rare opportunity to visit the abbey’s cellar.
A technical tasting of three champagnes – Dom Pérignon 2005, Dom Pérignon P2 1998 or 2000 and Dom Pérignon Rosé 2004 – follows before a final technical class concentrating on Dom Pérignon’s wine and food philosophy, and a four-course champagne lunch.
End the day being driven back to L’Assiette Champenoise.

The price of this trip starts from 2.050 € per person based on two people sharing a Junior Suite and as part of a minimum group of six people. A single supplement of 530 € applies for those who would like their own room.
This price includes two nights’ accommodation with breakfast at L’Assiette Champenoise (city tax is also included), transfers to and from Reims or Champagne-Ardenne station and the hotel in a luxury chauffeured vehicle, a tour of the Dom Pérignon Atelier with a four-course champagne lunch, and one six-course champagne dinner.

Experience Restrictions & Information

The Dom Pérignon Atelier is not available in January, or on weekends from mid-November to the end of March.
Dinner on Day 2 is not included in your experience; however, we will provide a comprehensive list of recommended restaurants offering Clos19 signature menus. We would be pleased to reserve you a table at any of these for dinner.
