Fresh, fruity and floral, this malbec gained its character from the unusual climatic conditions in 2014, which combined to create an elegant, balanced wine.

Distinguished by its intensity, juiciness and natural acidity, this malbec shows a hint of wood – a fitting complement to its red-cherry and herbaceous violet notes.

Terrazas de los Andes Malbec 2014

This textbook Mendoza malbec is crafted from grapes grown in two vineyards situated above 1,000 metres: Las Compuertas and Paraje Altamira. The growing and harvesting conditions in 2014 were unusual for the region but produced slow-ripening grapes with high acidity and concentration. The wine was aged for 12 to 14 months in a combination of new and old French oak barrels.
