Product DetailsA delicate combination of red-fruit flavours, aromatic spices and balanced acidity combine to create a memorable cabernet sauvignon from the high-altitude vines of Terrazas de los Andes. Early ripening in Argentina’s Mendoza region in 2015 led to wines marked by a great aromatic complexity. This cabernet sauvignon is no exception, with ageing in French oak imparting further depth.

Blend and Origin
Terrazas de los Andes Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
n Mendoza in 2015, above-average spring temperatures led to early ripening, while summer rains helped the grapes to mature – concentrated yet delicate. For this vintage, grapes were hand-picked from old vines grown in the high-altitude Luján de Cuyo and Uco Valley. Ageing in new and old French oak for 12-14 months, and six months in the bottle, results in a balanced wine.

Try rich dishes of Italian origin
The umami flavours in a classic tagliatelle alla puttanesca are the ideal accompaniment to this cabernet sauvignon.
For the main course, serve roasted lamb ribs with a zingy mint sauce to match the wine’s complex aromas.
