Blend and Origin
A dry summer allowed the grapes to reach full maturity without risk from disease or damp. Ruinart Dom Ruinart 2009 is a blend of chardonnay grapes from grand cru vineyards in Côtes de Blancs (82%) and Montagne de Reims (18%). Nine years in the Ruinart crayères have softened its bracing acidity, making it ideal to enjoy now. Further ageing in bottle will allow its flavours to mellow and develop for 20 years or more.
