    Procera African Juniper Gin is the first gin in the world to be distilled with fresh Juniperus procera berries, which give the spirit depth and an earthy, nutty flavour.

    Distilled and bottled in Nairobi, Kenya, Procera is distilled with 10 botanicals from around the African continent, and comes in a unique hand-blown glass bottle made by Kenyan artisans.

A small bag of Procera Salt comes attached to each bottle neck of Procera Gin.

Procera salt is made with all the botanicals of Procera gin, except for Somali Acacia honey. All of the salt ingredients were grown in African soil, and consist of 1 part Indian ocean sea salt, 2 parts botanical mix of unused fresh botanicals dried and finley ground in an old school hand grinder.

The Procera team have two tasting ritual suggestions for Procera Gin together with its unique salt mix. First, add a generous pinch of botanical salt into your glass of gin and stir, add a pinch at a time, taste and add to your liking. Or, place some salt on your tongue and hydrate it with a sip of the Procera G&T, the contrast is an explosion of flavours. Find this recipe and more on Journal19.
