Blend and Origin
Moët Grand Vintage Blanc 2008
During this cool year, September was key, as rains were swept away by a north-westerly wind that allowed all varietals to ripen fully. This blend is predominantly chardonnay (40%), with 37% pinot noir and 23% meunier. Its salient characteristic is the high acid balance, which had not been seen in a mature vintage since 1995 and 1996. A truly classic champagne.

A light, bright touch
Complement the brightness of this vintage with delicately flavoured dishes. For starters, try foie gras with lemon confit, or marinated sardines on toasts.
Opt for dishes such as savoury chicken terrine with mange tout, carrots and broad beans; skate with caper sauce and nasturtium; or turbot with peach and beurre blanc.
