    Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 1999

    Above-average temperatures and rainfall throughout the growing season resulted in healthy vines. July and August were both hot, allowing for excellent grape ripening. This vintage contains a higher proportion of meunier, imparting the champagne with its structured fruit flavours. 


Food pairing:
Perfect for desserts that are not overly sweet

When creating a dessert to accompany this vintage, remember the champagne is dry and therefore will be overwhelmed by too-sweet dishes. A chestnut mousse with fresh clementine sections garnished with pecans, or yoghurt topped with homemade caramelised popcorn is the perfect balance – in flavour and texture.
