Blend and Origin
Krug Soloist to Orchestra 2002 Act II
Krug Clos d'Ambonnay is crafted from 100% pinot noir grapes sourced from the tiny walled plot of Clos d’Ambonnay. Krug 2002 is a balanced blend of pinot noir (40%), chardonnay (39%) and meunier (21%), while the 158th Edition blends 76 wines from 10 years, the eldest dating to 1988 and the youngest to 2002. Pinot noir (44%), chardonnay (36%) and meunier (20%) make up this grande cuvée.

Bright gold. Aromas of gingerbread, candied orange peel and hazelnuts. Fullness on the palate, with an elegant structure and a long finish, characterised by a final hint of citrus.

Brilliantly gold, notes of fruit lead to chocolate biscuits. Its fruit flavours are enhanced by a long finish.
Krug Grande Cuvée 158ème Édition:
Deep gold with aromas of orange peel, nutmeg and ginger. Toasted bread, nougat and jellied sweets come through on the palate.
