Blend and Origin
The year 2013 began with a long, cold winter and a very wet spring. Thankfully summer was hot and sunny, allowing the pinot noir (43%), chardonnay (35%) and meunier (22%) to achieve full ripeness. These wines were then blended with reserve wines (146 wines from 11 different years) and kept in the Krug cellars for seven years to develop their elegant style and intense flavours.
