Grand Manhattan
The Grand Manhattan seems to be one of the easiest cocktails to make: four ingredients poured into a mixing glass, then strained. And yet taste-wise, it remains a deeply complex and sophisticated drink. The bitterness of angostura blended with the orange liqueur offers strong flavours that complement the delicate toasted notes of Cognac Hennessy V.S.O.P. It's a powerful cocktail, particularly appreciated on a cold winter's evening and is a real favourite among those who prefer their drink a little stronger; there are no added extras to dilute the well-balanced aromas of each ingredient - except for the cranberries, of course.
