How do you define good taste?

Good taste is subjective! I fill my home with art and objects that are made by craftsmen, curious minds and innovative thinkers.

What does the (your ?) future taste like ?

I’m constantly on the hunt; whether it be through markets in Paris for one-of-a-kind vintage furniture or on Instagram for new up and coming designers. My taste in the future will be an extension of me as I evolve and learn as well as a reaction to what is happening in the world and what excites me then.

If your art or style was a drink, what would it be?

A martini, straight up!

What does the art of hosting mean to you?

Family and friends around a candle lit table, a record playing in the background, flowing champagne and wine, wholesome food and the sound of laughter and conversation is the perfect dinner at my home.

When do you feel the most welcome when being entertained?

I feel instantly welcomed at any of my friend’s home, all guards are down, hats are off and everyone is relaxed and ready to enjoy themselves

What is your definition of a great evening ? Is there a magical ingredient?

A perfect evening is when everyone makes the time. We all lead busy lives and are glued to our iPhones so when the date is set the magical ingredients are the people around the room who are unequivocally present.

What is your guilty pleasure when it comes to food and drinks ?

Dom Perignon 2002 and anything by chief Nuno Mendes.

What is your ideal situation for enjoying fine dining with the people you love ?

Without doubt the exceptional service in fine dining is always a welcomed treat. I love finding about the family who run the vineyard from the wine I’m drinking or the fisherman who caught the fish I’m about to order.

When entertaining at home, what is your secret weapon ?

I go to great lengths to design my table, no two are ever the same and when entertaining, everything is made with love, that’s the secret weapon!
