Blend and Origin
A warm, sunny growing season allowed the grapes to reach their full maturity with ripe tannins and full fruit flavours. After a combination of full bunch and skin contact fermentation the wine was matured for 12 months in French oak barriques (30% new) followed by 12 months in bottle. This process softened the tannins, allowing the wine to become more balanced.
