Style
The best of the best
Created either in years of excellence or when the assemblage results in a champagne of equal superiority, prestige cuvées are made with the maison’s most exquisite, characterful grapes, typically from grand cru vineyards, and aged for longer than average.

Vintage
From a single year
Perfectly capturing the expression of a singular year, most prestige champagnes are vintages. Dom Pérignon and Krug achieve this with their vintage cuvées, while Ruinart does so with Dom Ruinart, and Veuve Clicquot with La Grande Dame and Cave Privée.

Non-Vintage
An haute couture approach
Crafting a non-vintage prestige champagne is complex, and only a handful of maisons – including Krug with its Grande Cuvée, and Moët & Chandon with MCIII – have mastered the art. It requires meticulous selection in the vineyard, exacting techniques and an innovative spirit.
