Our Champagne houses have been making world-renowned luxury champagnes since the 18th century. To distinguish it from sparkling wine and to earn the prestigious title of champagne, winemakers must use specified grapes grown in France’s verdant, UNESCO-listed region of the same name.

The high altitude, cool temperature and chalky subsoil of Champagne provide a challenging environment for ripening grapes, creating greater levels of acidity – and superb champagnes with peerless finesse.

Distinctive styles

We craft four styles of champagne: brut, extra brut, demi-sec and doux. Ideal as luxury gifts, as an apéritif or to accompany fine meals and celebrations, these champagnes range from rich and complex to bright and dry, with vibrant minerality or sweeter in style.

Winemaking

Unique methods

Using chardonnay, pinot noir and meunier varietals, the maisons’ winemakers follow the méthode champenoise, a unique set of rules for production that includes a second fermentation in the bottle and a long maturation period to create the bubbles and champagne’s inimitable taste.
