Product DetailsFrom Spain’s now-renowned Toro region comes Termes 2014, Bodega Numanthia’s youngest wine. Intensely fruity, it is a wonderful way to discover tinta de toro, a cousin of the much-loved tempranillo.
Chosen for their roundness and vibrancy, the fruits for Termes are selected from younger vines, with the wine aged for 14 months in French oak to develop a pleasing complexity.

Blend and Origin
Bodega Numanthia Termes 2014
The tinta de toro grapes in Termes are grown at 700 metres in Valdefinjas, Morales de Toro, Toro and Venialbo, on the estate's 'younger' vines between 30 and 50 years old. A wet spring and mild summer in 2014 led to a slow ripening season and later harvest. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in French oak for 14 months, the wine was aged a further nine months in the bottle.
